HONEY SOY WINGS
Serving size for 4
Ingredients
For the Glaze:
1 Thumb Size Ginger
4-5 Cloves of Roasted Garlic 4-5
2 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 Cup Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Honey
Salt and Pepper To Taste
50ml Of Mirin
Wings:
500g Of Chicken Wings
1 Cup Of Seasoned Flour (plain flour seasoned with salt and pepper)
2 Tbsp Of Baking Powder
Cooking Instructions
Put the wings inside a large zip-lock bag, add in seasoned flour and baking powder, mix till evenly coated, dust off the excess.
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees
Oil baking pan with vegetable/canola oil and place wings skin side down, evenly spaced apart.
Set the timer to 24 min and flip the wings halfway through.
In a medium sized pan, add a tablespoon of neutral oil and stir fry until the ginger and garlic are fragrant
Add in soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mirin and honey.
Reduce the mixture until sticky consistency. The best way to check would be using the back of a spoon. If the sauce sticks, your sauce is complete.
Once the wings are cooked, toss it in your sauce and serve with lime wedges and/or pickled red onion.
